Dumbarton exited the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup at the fourth round stage with a 4-0 defeat against Auchinleck Talbot this afternoon.

Sons started brightly but fell behind in added time at the end of the first-half when Connor Boyd picked out the far corner.

The visitors took control of the second period and added further effort through Boyd and two more from Kyle McAvoy.

Dumbarton travel to Edinburgh City next weekend.
