Scott signed for Dumbarton after an impressive trial spell, having previously turned out for Alloa Athletic, Falkirk and East Stirlingshire.

A product of the Bairns’ youth system, he made his name as a 17-year-old during a loan spell with East Stirlingshire in the Lowland League – earning a reputation as one of the most exciting young talents outside of the SPFL.

He featured a number of times for the Bairns first team, and scored a hat-trick in the Stirlingshire Cup against Stirling Albion, whilst also building his senior experience with Alloa Athletic – before signing for Sons in the summer of 2025, where his creativity and eye for goal quickly impressed.

After scoring 13 times and being named Sonstrust Young Player of the Year in his first season at The Rock – sponsored by Marbill Coaches, Sons managed to see off competition from a host of sides to secure his services for another season in June 2026.
