Voting for the first Stags Head Player of the Month award of the new season has now opened, with Sons fans choosing between four nominees.
Up for the award this month are three returning Sons, and a summer addition who has made quite an impact:

Under the ownership of David Davidson and the Enlightened Hospitality Group, the Stags have been a huge supporter of the club in the new era – and last year launched the popular Player of the Month award that saw thousands of votes cast and seven different winners.
The Stags have also supported the Sonstrust Supporters Bus during the season, which regularly leaves from the Dumbarton East venue.
David Davidson, Stags Head owner, said: “We’re extremely proud of our town and our team, and anyone who comes into the pub will have seen plenty of black and gold. It means a lot to us to be the go-to pub for Sons fans, and away supporters, on a matchday – and we’ve loved stepping up our support at such an exciting time for the club.
“The Player of the Month award is the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate success during the season and we look forward to welcoming more players to receive their award, as well wishing Frank, Mario and everyone at DFC all the very best for the upcoming season.”
Dumbarton FC Associate Director for Commercial, Jamie Moses, said: “David and his team have been significant supporters of the club in recent times and it’s fantastic that we’ll be continuing this relationship in the new season.
“Fans already know that the Stags is a great place to enjoy a pint and some chat about the Sons, and this only further cements that fact. With the added bonus that you might catch your favourite player picking up an award whilst you’re in!”
