The Frank McKeown era got up and running at The Marbill Coaches Stadium with a barnstorming victory against high-flying East Kilbride in horrendous conditions.
Terrific play from Ally Roy set up Dom Docherty for a fourth minute opener, before Docherty turned provider 20 minutes later – delivering the perfect corner for skipper Mark Durnan to mark his return with a goal.
Docherty, Gordon Walker and youngster Aedan Gilfedder all had chances to add to the victory – whilst Sonstrust Player of the Match in association with No Limits Brewing Shay Kelly produced heroics to deny Kilby’s Connor Young in the second-half.
