We’re looking for a Commercial Associate to help drive sponsorship and revenue for our ever-expanding youth academy. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to build relationships, develop commercial partnerships, and play a key role in the future success of Dumbarton FC.
Key Responsibilities include:
Youth Academy Commercial Development
- Lead the centralisation of sponsorship across the youth academy system (5 boys’ teams and 5 girls’ teams)
- Identify and secure new sponsorship opportunities for youth teams and academy initiatives
- Develop tailored sponsorship packages that deliver value to partners and support youth football development
- Create and implement commercial strategies specific to youth academy growth
Sponsor Relationship Management
- Own and manage relationships with existing and new sponsors
- Serve as the primary point of contact for youth academy sponsors
- Ensure sponsor activation and delivery of contractual benefits
- Conduct regular reviews with sponsors to maximise retention and identify growth opportunities
- Organise sponsor engagement events and hospitality experiences
Revenue Generation
Explore partnership opportunities within the local business community
Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities across the club
Support the Commercial Director in achieving revenue targets
Develop innovative approaches to monetise club assets and platforms.
