A pacey and aggressive full-back, Gordon was one of boss Stevie Farrell’s first signings in the summer of 2025 when the club’s transfer embargo was lifted.

Born in Carrigaline, near Cork, he started his career with Cobh Ramblers, before moving to University College Cork. His showings there led to a move to Cork City, who he helped to the League of Ireland – playing 20 times in the Irish top flight.

He crossed the Irish Sea to join Arbroath in January 2024, before making the move to East Fife later the same year.

Gordon joined Dumbarton in the summer of 2025, with his driving attacking play from right-back quickly making him popular with the Sons faithful.
