THREE POINTS IN THE CAPITAL

Dumbarton hit Spartans for six today to pick up three points.

Ryan Blair fired in a free-kick to put the visitors ahead after five minutes before Cammy Russell equalised with one of his own to level things up.

Aron Lynas put Sons back in front with a header and that was quickly added to by Gallagher Lennon with a brilliant first-time strike from the edge of the box.

There was still time for Bradley Whyte to pull one back for Spartans and cap off a memorable first-half.

Blair struck his second and Sons fourth on 55 minutes with Michael Ruth capitalising on a goalkeeping error to add number five.

The scoring was completed by James Graham in the final few minutes when he latched on to a pass from Finlay Gray to seal the points.

Sons host Bonnyrigg Rose next weekend.
