Our women’s side continued their inconsistent form by falling to a narrow 2-1 defeat away to Saint Anthony’s on Sunday.
Gemma Smith on target for Gerry Gallacher’s who went 2 down early on but despite recovering well with Gemma’s goal the closest the side would come to another would be when Eva McInnes clipped the crossbar.
With a free week in between to work on what went wrong, the girls have the chance to fire back tomorrow in another away match with Harmony Row.
The match will take place at Sir Alex Ferguson park near the Braehead shopping centre with a kick-off time to be confirmed on the women’s social media pages.
While the men’s season will conclude on May 3rd following the trip to Stenhousemuir, the ladies will continue, with two matches to finish off their SWFL West campaign.
A home match with Benburb on May 11th and a trip to champions Bishopton on May 18th rounding off the season and everybody involved with the side would appreciate any additional support as they finish their debut season under the Dumbarton FC banner.
