Dumbarton host Annan Athletic tomorrow in the second-leg of the cinch League One play-off semi-final.
A 6-0 win for the Galabankies on Tuesday night has all but secured their place in the final where they will meet either East Fife or Clyde for a spot in League One next season.
Boss Stevie Farrell admits overturning the deficit will take some doing but insists he and his players will do everything they can.
He said: “I would like to apologise to our supporters for the performance on Tuesday evening. It was not acceptable and way short of the standards we have set this season.
“Annan have given themselves a fantastic opportunity and have two feet in the final.
“We’ve got to try and believe we can have as good of a day as Annan had on Tuesday, and they have as bad of a day as we had. That’s what it’s going to take.
“If that happens, which has been known to happen in football, then you never know.”
Farrell will be without Kalvin Orsi who is suspended after Tuesday night and Stuart Carswell joins Ryan Wallace and John Gemmell on the side lines.
Admission for the match is £15 for adults, £10 for 65+ and students (valid ID required), £5 for under-16’s. Season tickets are not valid.
Annan fans will be situated in the west section of the stand but are invited to enter through the home turnstiles and enjoy Bar 72 before kick-off, which will be open from 1.30pm.
