Dumbarton and Annan Athletic drew 0-0 at The Rock on Saturday as Sons 2022/23 season came to an end.
The damage was done on Tuesday when the Galabankies won 6-0 in the first-leg, leaving Stevie Farrell’s side a near impossible task.
Declan Byrne and Ryan Blair came close to opening the scoring for Dumbarton in the first-half whilst Brett Long had to be sharp to deny Tommy Goss.
Russell McLean and David Wilson nearly pulled one back after the break but the second-leg ended goalless.
Annan meet Clyde in the final as Sons competitive season drew to a close.
