Dumbarton make the long journey to Elgin tomorrow as they get back to the bread and butter of cinch League Two football [kick-off 2.00pm].
Sons will be looking to consolidate their spot in the play-offs with victory tomorrow whilst the attentions of the hosts are very much at the other end of the table.
Despite Elgin looking anxiously over their shoulder at bottom of the league Clyde, they can boast one of the best home records in the league with 17 points from 9 fixtures.
Boss Stevie Farrell has warned his troops to quickly focus on tomorrow after last weeks Scottish Cup clash with Rangers or they may suffer a similar outcome at Borough Briggs as they did earlier on this season.
He told the clubs website: “After all the excitement and build-up to the game against Rangers we now need to get back to basics.
“There are positives to take from last week so it’s about taking all those things that we done well and into tomorrow.
“If we can do that, we give ourselves a great chance of a successful outcome.
“It won’t be easy, as we have found out all too well at Elgin in the past, but we are only looking at ourselves and what we can do.”
In team news, those cup-tied and ineligible to play in last weeks game return to the squad. Other than that, only long-term absentees Brett Long, Greig Young, Callum Wilson and Mark Durnan miss out.
If you are travelling tomorrow, please note the earlier kick-off time of 2.00pm. This is due to damage to the floodlights at Borough Briggs after recent storms. The bar will be open from 12.00pm for both sets of supporters.
Admission is £14 for adults and £9 for concessions. A cash gate will be in operation with supporters also able to purchase here: https://app.fanbaseclub.com/Fan/Dashboard?clubId=29.
Tomorrow’s referee is Duncan Nicolson. He will be assisted by Colin Drummond and Lewis Hogarth.
