JJR PRINT SUPPORT THE SONS FOR NEW SEASON

Dumbarton Football Club are thrilled to confirm JJR Print will continue as the club’s front of home shirt sponsor for the duration of our 2025/26 campaign.

A local commercial printing company who backed and stuck by the club last season, JJR Print have agreed a new shirt sponsorship deal with our men’s team as we begin a new area under new ownership at The Marbill Coaches Stadium.

We are all very grateful for the support of JJR Print led by managing director Stewart Byron – a regular at games with his brother Kenny – who joined us for our squad photo on Saturday just past.

Club Commercial Manager Brian Welsh said: “This is fantastic news, we are very grateful to Stewart and his team. During a number of really positive meetings with Stewart in recent weeks there has been consistent demonstration of his passion for the club, his commitment to supporting the new era here and a willingness to go the extra mile with additional help. It’s the perfect example of a local company aligned with the club, and we are determined to help make his brand shine this season in return.

“This is the first of many sponsorship announcements we will make in the coming days and weeks, and one part of the messaging will be on repeat – please support our sponsors while they support us. Even as little as a like or follow for JJR Print on social media is a quick and easy way we can thank Stewart and his team as we all get set to work together in the exciting season ahead.”

Established over 100 years ago under the name Alexander Lawrence & Son in Church Street, JJR Print has been a mainstay in the local economy since, serving a variety of customers large and small.

Stewart Byron, Managing Director of JJR Print, said: “We are delighted to be able to continue our sponsorship this season. It is important for us as a local company to be involved in our community, we see this core value in the new leadership at Dumbarton FC. After a number of reassuring discussions with DFC officials this close season, it is clear the club have a positive pathway for the future success of the club and we are keen to be a part of that. We are proud to have been able to offer extra help when the club needed it and to follow the excellent example the fans showed with the Save our Sons campaign.

“On a personal note, I can’t wait for the team to get stuck into the new season, some very exciting young talent already on show and I’m sure we will all enjoy watching them develop over the season.”
