C&G SYSTEMS CONTINUE SONS SPONSORSHIP

We’re delighted to confirm C&G Systems as a key club sponsor for season 2025/26, continuing our long-term partnership with a successful local business.

C&G Systems will be the men’s team front of away shirt sponsor for the upcoming campaign in what will be the Dumbarton-based company’s eighth year supporting the Sons.

C&G Systems deliver consultancy services to support clients across the UK’s rail industry – providing possession planning, operations delivery and innovative software & app development solutions. Following positive talks with club owner Mario Lapointe, we are also looking at other ways to further grow the partnership with C&G Systems for mutual benefit in the season ahead.

C&G Systems Managing Director Dave Gordon said: “This is more than a logo on a shirt. It’s about being present, being involved, and backing something we believe in. We’re proud to stand behind Dumbarton FC- on and off the pitch.

“As a business born and based in Dumbarton, backing the local team means a lot to us. This isn’t just sponsorship, it’s about staying connected to the community we live and work in.

“With new owner Mario Lapointe at the helm, it’s an exciting time for the club. His vision to open up the stadium for more than just football – with events, youth activities and local initiatives – aligns perfectly with our own commitment to making a difference close to home. We’re especially pleased to support efforts like the new Pass it On campaign, helping under-16s get season tickets and feel part of something bigger.

“Here’s to another season of community pride, shared goals and standing together at The Marbill Coaches Stadium.”

C&G Systems have a proven track record of delivering more than just a sponsorship, from employment opportunities for Dumbarton FC players and staff, to their recent support of the Pass It On campaign.

Dumbarton FC commercial manager Brian Welsh said: “Everyone at Dumbarton FC is very grateful to Dave, Andy and all the team at C&G Systems for their outstanding backing of the club. Through our conversations it’s clear C&G are deeply committed to the club and willing to add value wherever possible, having really stuck by the club during all the recent challenges.

“This season is a fresh start for all and so we are all looking forward to building the partnership further and working together to give the best platform for future success for both parties. Here’s to a very positive eighth year together and hopefully many more to come.”
