Defender Ali Omar has capped a memorable few weeks by winning the William Hill SPFL Goal of the Month prize.
The defender’s stunning 66-yarder against Elgin City was chosen as the best goal across the four divisions of the SPFL throughout the whole month, earning Ali a plaudit rarely won by defenders!
As well as four straight victories, it’s been a memorable month for the 27-year-old – who earned his 11th and 12 caps for Somalia in games against The Gambia and Côte d’Ivoire.
Congratulations, Ali!
