We are thrilled to confirm the addition of midfielder Dom Docherty to our squad for the upcoming campaign.
Dom, 28, joins us from League 2 rivals Clyde on a free transfer and will boost our options in the centre of the park ahead of our return to the fourth tier.
A product of the Hibernian academy, Dom has played for Glasgow sides Partick Thistle and Queen’s Park as well as stints with Stirling Albion and the Bully Wee in recent years racking up over 250 appearances in Scottish football.
With a wealth of experience across League 1 and 2 Dom’s knowledge of the league made him an easy target for the club as we look to kick off strongly in the division.
Mainly a defensive midfielder, Dom is also able to operate in a more advanced role or out wide if required and adds another layer of depth to the side.
With 22 appearances in League 2 last year Dom will be prepared for the season ahead and is a welcome addition at the Rock.
