Our women’s team finish off pre-season tomorrow with an away trip to Murieston United.
The ladies travel through to West Lothian to take on their opponents, members of the SWFL East division for their second and final friendly.
The side kicked off pre-season with a 4-3 win away to Ardrossan Winton Rovers in Ayrshire, before our scheduled match with Stewarton Annick was cancelled.
Our opponents finished 8th out of 10 in last years SWFL Central, but after reorganizing of the leagues they have moved to the East division this year.
They won 3, drew 2 and lost 13 of their 18 matches last year.
Head Coach Gerry Gallacher feels playing teams outwith our own league in pre-season will provide the side with new and different challenges.
The team kick off their competitive season with a home match against rivals Drumchapel United in the SWFL Cup a week following the Murieston fixture.
