STEVIE FARRELL has been named as Glens Vodka manager of the month for League Two for the second time this season, winning the award for November.
Sons ended the month clear at the top of cinch League Two after victories over Stranraer and Elgin City, and a draw with Forfar Athletic.
This advantage was further extended by Saturday’s 1-1 draw away to Bonnyrigg Rose which kicked off the December fixtures.
Dumbarton also progressed further in the Scottish Cup in November, winning 3-1 away to Clyde to secure a fourth round tie away to cinch SPFL Premiership side Kilmarnock.
Stevie said: ““I am delighted to win the award again, but as with the previous occasions, this is an award for everybody at the club.
“It has been a team effort to get where we are in the league, but it has taken a lot of hard work and that hard work must continue.”

Dumbarton chairman Neil Mackay added: “This latest award adds to Stevie’s CV that he has built up during his time with us, and it is a prize he deserves.
“The winning habit has returned again and I know just how determined he and the players are to keep it going for as long as possible.
“We have no game this weekend, but we are all looking forward to our next matchday, at home to Stenhousemuir a week on Saturday.
“Congratulations to Stevie and everybody involved.”
