Midfielder Lewis Spence was the third summer addition to Frank McKeown’s squad for the 2026/27 season, inking a two-year deal at The Rock – sponsored by Marbill Coaches.

A title winner with East Kilbride, Lewis played 39 times for Mick Kennedy’s side during the 2025/26 campaign – captaining the K Park club on a number of occasions.

He started his career with Dunfermline Athletic, before moving to Neil McCann’s Dundee – where he played 31 times in the Premiership.

More experience in the top tier followed with Ross County, who he helped to the Championship title in 2019, with Lewis also turning out for Scunthorpe United, Hamilton Accies and Edinburgh City.

Lewis made the move to Kilby in 2023, where he played a key role in winning six trophies, including back-to-back promotions from the Lowland League to League 1, and now he’s checked in at The Rock.

Boss Frank McKeown said: “Lewis was a standout performer in League 2 last season with East Kilbride, so we’re delighted to be able to bring him to the club.

“He’s got great experience at a very good level and in successful teams – and is a proven winner. Lewis had a number of offers and was clearly in demand for his ability to dictate games from the middle of the pitch.

“Although we are well aware of Lewis’ quality on the pitch, the thing that attracted me most after meeting up with him was his desire to be successful again. It’s this mindset that will make Lewis a big player for us in the coming years.”
