IT is with very deep sadness that we have learned that John Duffy, a long-time Dumbarton fan and former chair of the Sons Supporters Trust, has passed away.
John was a very keen supporter of his local football club and was a regular sight on the sidelines at home and away.
The position of Sonstrust chair was one that he held with great honour and distinction, and he will be missed by us all.
The thoughts of everybody at Dumbarton FC are with John’s family and friends at this sad time.
