FRIDAY night was legends night at Dumbarton Football Stadium at the 150th anniversary hall of fame induction evening.
A crowd of the best part of 200 people were in attendance to see the championship-winning squads of 1992 and 2009 inducted into the club’s hall of fame.
They were also joined by players who either won promotion to, or later played in, the Scottish Premier Division between 1983 and 1985.
A number of other players who have achieved greatness with DFC over the years were also inducted into the hall of fame.
Also present on the night were the family of our late captain of the 2009 team, Gordon Lennon, who accepted the certificate on his behalf. Gordon’s brother Scott also delivered a speech with his father Alex.
The event was the last in the club’s 150th anniversary calendar of events, and all of those occasions have proven extremely popular with supporters.

Grateful thanks are extended by DFC, and the 150th anniversary committee, to all supporters and players who attended and made it a great evening for the club.
