Our women’s team fell to a defeat away to SWFL Central-West champions Bishopton yesterday afternoon.

Despite a bright start and chances for both Eva McInnes and Gemma Smith we were unable to find a breakthrough before the hosts took the lead before half-time.

Despite a penalty miss they would add four late second half goals as we chased the game.

The girls put up a brave performance against a more experienced outfit who showed their gamesmanship both on the park and from the sidelines.

The ladies finish up their home campaign on Sunday as Carron Ladies arrive at Mountblow.

We would encourage all supporters to come down and cheer the girls on their final home match.
