DUMBARTON’S central defensive options have been strengthened today with the arrival of Dougie Hill from Brechin City.
The name will be very familiar to Sons fans, as the new recruit has been in opposition with both Alloa and Raith Rovers during the club’s current Championship era.
The 32-year-old has been one of the trialists fielded during the pre-season friendlies and is in line to make his debut as a signed player against Clydebank today.
He also counts Cowdenbeath among his former clubs.
