Forward Deryn was boss Frank McKeown’s first signing of the summer 2026 transfer window – signing a one year deal after impressing for playoff chasing Stranraer.
He started his career in the West of Scotland League, first with Royal Albert and then Lanark United. His prolific form caught the eye of Stranraer, where Deryn went on to score 25 times in 108 games – becoming a cult hero at Stair Park after commentary of him scoring went viral.
