Our women’s side marked their final home match at Mountblow before their summer move to the Rock with their largest victory in senior football.

A debut hat-trick for new signing Alice English, fresh off a move from SWPL side Celtic was one of only three match balls that went home with Sons players.

Gemma McGarry capped off her campaign as top scorer with a further three goals against Carron Ladies to end the season with 21 strikes.

While Mya Logan capped off an impressive year with four goals, including two contenders for goal of the season.

Elsewhere, vice-captain Mirren Esdale continued her late season goal rush since her move into midfield with a penalty strike and Sophie Reid finally netted her first of the SWFL Central-West campaign late on.

The result secures a top eight finish for the ladies after a difficult first half of the campaign and sends them into their final match, away to Central Ladies, full of confidence.
