WOMEN’S TEAM RETURN FOR 2025/26

Our women’s team will return to training later this month in preparation for the start of their pre-season schedule.

They begin with a friendly away to Ardrossan Winton Rovers at Winton Park on July 20th, with a 2:30pm kick-off. This is followed by a home tie at Mountblow against Stewarton Annick a week later, kicking off at 2:45pm.

The pre-season fixtures conclude with an away match against Murieston United on August 3rd at Bankton Mains Sports Complex, with a 2:00pm kick-off.

The team enters the revamped SWFL Central/West League this season, following a sixth-place finish in last year’s SWFL West League in their inaugural campaign under the Dumbarton FC banner.

The side will also compete in the ScottishPower Regional League Cup with fixtures to be announced next Monday July 14th.

Head coach Gerry Gallacher, supported by his coaching staff Kenny McInnes and John Dempster, will be aiming to build on a promising first season. With a young and ambitious squad that continues to develop week by week, the target is clear: to climb the table and contend for a place in the promotion play-offs.

Forward Olivia Oliver has departed the club this week. A comprehensive squad update will be published online in due course.
