League 1 Queen of the South will visit the Marbill Coaches Stadium this Saturday (July 5), after our planned game with Hebburn Town was cancelled.
The Doonhamers, managed by Peter Murphy, finished third in SPFL League 1 last season – defeating us three times at Palmerston, but taking just a point from their two visits to G82.
Boss Stevie Farrell said: “When we heard that Hebburn wouldn’t be able to make the trip north this weekend we were very keen to get another match arranged to ensure the players are in the best possible place ahead of the Premier Sports Cup.
“Queens will provide us with another good workout and we’re sure it will be beneficial to ourselves and Peter and his players ahead of the start of competitive action.”
Kick off is 2pm with turnstiles opening at 12.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and are on sale via Fanbase, with the turnstiles ticket only.
Tickets can also be purchased at the front door of the stadium, but we’d urge supporters to buy in advance for the slickest possible experience.
