YOUTHS END THEIR SEASON

Tuesday 12th May 2015

DUMBARTON’S youth teams ended their competitive 2014/2015 season last Sunday, with our 13s, 15s and 17s in action

Alan Campbell’s 13s were the furthest travelled with a trip to Dingwall to face Ross County.

Goals from Joe Booth, Cammy Hill and Lennon Campbell pleased the coach in what was an excellent performance.

There was no game for the 14s, but several members of the squad were included in the 15s team that played Alloa Athletic at Recreation Park.

Ayr United defeated the 17s in their final encounter of the season.

Head of Youth Richie Salveta commented: “This was last official weekend of youth games, although the 14s are playing a final friendly game next Sunday at Stirling Albion as we look at some more trialists as they had no game on Sunday.

“On behalf of all the youth development academy staff and everyone at the club we would like to thank all the players and their families for a great effort this season while representing the club.”
