DUMBARTON FC’s open trials proved to be a massive success last week.
Our youth coaches ran the rule over 50 lads at the Vale of Leven Academy hoping to make it into our player development programme.
Those that did well will receive invites to a second trial on Friday 6th June and our Head of Youth Tony Gervaise said: “The open trials night was a huge success many players attending on the night as we look to get new talent for our under-13 team
“The staff put the players through their paces and all players were given the chance to express themselves in game situations.
“The effort from everyone was great and the standard was high and Id like to thank everyone who came along.
“A special mention to our YDI coaches who have worked very hard not only for the trials been and yet to come but for the season just finished.”
