STRIKER Ryan Schiavone has joined Dumbarton on loan from Hearts until January, with paperwork for the deal completed today.
Aged 18, Ryan signed his first professional deal at Tynecastle just after his 16th birthday and is a Scotland under-16 international.
He was involved in the Jam Tarts’ programme of friendlies in the build-up to this season and will be a Sons player until Sunday, January 16.
Manager Stevie Farrell said: “Ryan is very highly-rated at Hearts and they expect him to go on and have a great future in the game.
“We’re pleased to be trusted with this latest phase of his development and we look forward to seeing what he can do for us.”
Ryan is expected to be available for tomorrow night’s SPFL Trust Trophy first round tie against Rangers B.
