A FORMER Dumbarton YDI player today became manager Jim Duffy’s latest signing.
Tall right sided defender Lewis Crawford moved from the now discontinued YDI scheme to the Clyde under 20 squad at the start of the 2017-18 season before playing for Junior side Petershill in 2018-19, where he scored three goals.
Now the highly-rated 19 year-old, who was born in Alexandria, has returned to the Rock to join the first team squad.
His brother Jack is the matchday reporter for both Twitter and SonsTV.
Lewis’s home and away jerseys have already been sponsored, but more sponsors are still required.
DFC chairman John Steele welcomes Lewis Crawford back to the club, watched by his brother Jack. Copyright Fullarton Photos 2019.
