FORMER Scottish U-21 internationalist David Smith is Sons latest summer recruit having agreed terms with manager Stevie Aitken.
23-year old Smith is a product of the Hearts youth system but his last club was Falkirk, having signed for the Bairns in September 2014.
In 20 appearances for Falkirk last season, David managed to grab a goal against Peterhead in the League Cup.
Commenting on his latest acquisition, boss Aitken said: “I’m happy to have David complete his deal.
“There was significant interest in his services from elsewhere but he’s now part of our squad for the new season.”
Sons kick-off their public pre-season summer schedule tomorrow night at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium with the visit of Dundee.
