DUMBARTON FC is delighted to welcome a new member to our small staff team… Angela Pounder, who will be working for us for 12 hours a week as Marketing and Digital Promotions Executive.
This new post is sponsored by C&G Systems and is aiming to help the Club professionalise and extend its commercial operations, increasing our income and helping to broaden and widen the appeal and reach of DFC.
Angela lives in Dumbarton and has a strong background in this area of work. She recently set up Clydeside Social, which is a social media consultancy, and she has a Diploma in Strategic Social Media Management as well as a degree from Glasgow School of Art.
She’s also involved with football herself, through her links with our youth partners, Dumbarton United AFC. So joining up with the Sons is an especially good fit.
Angela says: “I’m excited to be working for the Dumbarton FC, as well as for C&G Systems. I hope that my background and experience, as well as my strong local connections, can help the Club move forward in terms of its image, marketing and commercial capacity.
“It will be really good to be part of an enthusiastic team here at the Rock, and to support the work of our volunteers, who already do a great job!”
