GAFFER Ian Murray may have to wait to be in charge of his team as the descent of winter weather has put this Saturday’s cup-tie against Hamilton Accies in doubt.
Sub-zero temperatures have hit the Bet Butler Stadium pitch rendering it bone hard, as Chief Executive Gilbert Lawrie explains.
“We’ve had a couple of nights of sub zero temperatures and minus three is the overnight forecast tonight.
“Daytime temperatures are not expected to rise much above freezing and as such at present there must be a risk that the game may be postponed.”
Should the game be called off, the re-scheduled attempt to play the match will be Tuesday 4th December 2012.
