IT was another busy day of volunteers in action at the C&G Systems Stadium today, with supporters once again helping out around the stadium.
Work is ongoing to ensure the stadium is ready for its return to action, which we now know is scheduled to be on Saturday, October 24 when Sons play Clyde.
In no particular order, grateful thanks are extended to the following:
Cameron Russell, Liam Meehan, Douglas Allan, Brian Ferguson, Andrew Brown, Max Clarke and friend, Katrina Watson, Graeme Prout and Paul Hettmann for assisting with painting stairs in the stand.
Gordon McGhee and friend for painting the dugouts.
Cameron McIlroy for cleaning benches in the away dressing room, ballpersons’ room and match officials’ room.
Colin Maxwell for continuing to cut back the growth on the perimeter wall at the car park.
Their work is greatly appreciated once again, as are the efforts of Jacqui Sibbald in co-ordinating all the work.
