SONS take a break from league action this coming Saturday and will be on Scottish Cup 3rd Round duty when Cowdenbeath visit the Bet Butler Stadium.
With the two sides meeting last weekend in the SPFL Championship both clubs will be familiar with each other’s style of play.
However it’s a game everyone at DFC is looking forward to, particularly Sons boss Ian Murray.
He said : “The cup gives us a breather from the league and we want to progress in the competition as far as we can.
“There’s always a different atmosphere for cup matches and there are obvious rewards for doing well.
“As Cowden showed on Saturday against us they don’t give anything away so we know that we are in for a good game.
“It’ll be good from my point of view to be back in the dugout.”
Sons fans should note that season tickets are not valid for this game with entry being cash only.
Prices are £16 for adults and £9 for concessions. Kick-off is 3pm.
