THE Under-20 Development League is well underway for this season, with Colin Nish’s squad lying in sixth place.
After a brave start, Sons narrowly lost 3-2 to Airdrieonians in their most recent game, following a thrilling first half goal feast.
The Under-20s’ programme had opened at the beginning of the month, with a trip to Toryglen that ended in a 3-0 win for Queens Park.
The following week, the first home game at Murray Park saw visitors Greenock Morton also win by a three goal margin, in a 4-1 defeat.
Back on the road on 16th September, Sons travelled to Palmerston Park and picked up their first point of the season with a 0-0 draw against Queen of the South.
Last Monday at Murray Park, Airdrieonians were the visitors and ended up on the losing end.
The next fixture is another long drive south, this time to Annan Athletic.
The game is scheduled for Monday 29th September. Coach Colin Nish (pictured) is working hard to achieve a turnaround in form for his young side.
