CRAIG Sutherland and Ryan Donnelly who both featured for Sons in pre-season matches as trialists, have found new clubs following no contract offers at the Bet Butler Stadium.
Donnelly scored for Dumbarton in the Edinburgh City game earlier this month and has found employment at Ayr United.
Meanwhile Craig Sutherland has been snapped up by fellow Championship club Cowdenbeath. Sutherland featured as a sub for Ian Murray in the 3-1 defeat at New Douglas Park on 15th July.
In other news, former DFC young player of the season Nicky Devlin, having left Stenhousemuir last season, joins Donnelly at Somerset Park for the new campaign.
The new Honest Men defender is a product of DFC’s youth academy and following graduation to the Sons first team joined Motherwell in 2011.
