JANUARY 2nd is traditionally a holiday; not so for the Sons squad who will be hard at work in preparation for the visit to Ibrox this Saturday.
Manager Ian Murray and his coaching staff will be putting the players through a tough (closed door) training day to fine tune their game plan for the Rangers clash.
Video analysis – expertly provided by coach Mark Spalding – of recent matches will also be viewed with no stone left unturned in the lead up to the game.
“In reality what we will be doing on Friday is no different from any other game”, said Ian.
“We prepare the players properly for each match however given the holiday period things are a little different.”
