FOLLOWING recent unauthorised overnight parking at the Bet Butler Stadium, the club will now enforce a new entry policy to ensure safety for employees, supporters and visitors.
A barrier is in place at the entrance to the stadium and this will be locked 24/7 with access granted only to DFC officials/employees and by prior arrangement (such as deliveries).
Any visitors to the stadium on weekdays should now park on Castle Road (outwith pre-arranged functions/conferences) and we respectfully request that everyone is considerate of residents and local people when parking cars.
To ensure supporters’ safety on matchdays, a traffic management system will operate at the stadium with the barrier/gate manned and operated by security staff.
Coach parking at the stadium must be arranged in advance by contacting the club direct.
For evening functions the barrier/gate will also be supervised by security/stewarding staff for access and egress.
CCTV will be installed at the stadium in the very near future and we are investigating the logistics of installing an auto gate entry system.
Meantime we thank everyone in advance for their patience and understanding.
