DUMBARTON gaffer Jim Duffy has thanked supporters and well-wishers near and far for all their kind messages of support following his heart attack.
Jim is recovering at home at the moment, and carries with him all our wishes for a speedy recovery.
The popular manager has received messages of support from all over the country and beyond.
Sons’ vice-chairman Colin Hosie said: “It’s really gratifying to see people across the game responding with concern and generosity at a moment like this.
“It reminds us of the friendship and solidarity football generates, despite our competitive instincts on the pitch.
“The priority at the moment is to see Jim back to fitness. The Club is planning for a return to action as soon as is feasible, and we very much want Jim to be part of that. But health comes first.”
The goodwill messages have come in not just to the Club and to Jim and his family directly, but right across social media. Every one of them is appreciated.
