DUMBARTON FC expresses sincere thanks to Stranraer FC for their assistance in making it possible to bring Stevie Farrell back to the club.
Co-operation between the two parties was key to getting the deal done, and although the Blues were understandably reluctant, they were extremely supportive during the process.
Stevie has also been able to bring his backroom staff of assistant Frank McKeown and goalkeeper coach Eric Phillips to Dumbarton.
Sons vice-chairman Colin Hosie said: “Stranraer, fully understandably, were keen to retain the services of Stevie and his backroom team.
“But they were fully co-operative with us once we made initial contact and we thank them most sincerely for this.
“We wish them every success for the coming season.”
