DUMBARTON FC expresses sincere thanks to C&G Systems, whose three-year deal to sponsor our iconic stadium has come to an end.
The company first became involved with Sons in the 2018 close season, and we are delighted to advise that they wish to continue in some sponsorship capacity.
This will not be as the main sponsor of our stadium or strips. Both of these opportunities are now available to anybody wishing to gain vital exposure for their business and engage with Dumbarton FC.
However, discussions are ongoing as to their future involvement as a sponsor and we will be glad to continue our hugely positive relationship with them.
We are very grateful for their sponsorship and support, but also for how we worked together with initiatives in the community, youth football and railway safety messages. Our work with schools has made for a great partnership.
C&G’s commercial director Andy Gordon has contributed significantly as an associate director of the club, and we are delighted he has indicated he will remain in this role.
Club Chairman John Steele said: “Since 2018 C&G have been vital supporters of Dumbarton FC, and we will be very pleased to continue that relationship in some capacity.
“We are grateful to Managing Director Dave Gordon for his support and we are delighted with the exposure the sponsorship has given C&G.
“They have worked with us during one of the most difficult times in the club’s history and Andy Gordon has given up his personal time, in his capacity as an Associate Director, contributing significantly to the board and commercial opportunities at the club and we are delighted he wishes to remain in that role.
“We will always be grateful for the support we have had, and look forward to their continued input.”
