DUMBARTON Football Club wishes to thank all supporters who travelled to Oswestry to attend last night’s Irn Bru Cup semi-final against The New Saints.
Considering the distance, and especially the timing, involved in this fixture, your efforts in supporting us at Park Hall were nothing short of remarkable.
And…we did it.
Cancel all your plans for the weekend of March 24/25. It is going to be an experience unique to all of our current fanbase.
The club is in a national cup final – something which has never happened in one of Scottish football’s current major knockout competitions during the lifetime of anybody currently alive.
We are 90 minutes away from lifting a trophy where, before this season, we’d only got as far as the quarter finals once in its 28-year history.
Whether it is Inverness CT or Crusaders we face in the final, be in no doubt, this is a fixture we intend to make the most of – not least by bringing that trophy home.
