Wednesday 15th March 2017
THE ever-popular Swiss Sons are back for their annual visit on Saturday when they attend Easter Road for Dumbarton’s game with Hibs.
Pioneers of some popular chants among the Sons support, the group are making their seventh visit to a game, having previously seen three wins, two defeats and one draw.
Their trips to Scotland started in April 2011, when Marquard Christen and Roland Kochli travelled to watch a 5-2 home win over Peterhead.
Since then their numbers have gradually increased, and their most recent visit was for the 2-1 win over St Mirren on Survival Saturday last April.
Saturday will also see them do the double of the high-profile grounds in Edinburgh. Their only previous away game was at Hearts in March 2015, a game Sons lost 4-0.
All at DFC are looking forward to having them back – and hope that this time they’ll witness a famous away victory!
