SUPPORTERS LIASON OFFICER ROLE

Dumbarton Football Club are on the lookout for a new Supporters Liason Officer, with thanks to our departing officer.

Robbi Docherty has worked tirelessly in the role for more than two years, proving to be a crucial link between the fans and the rest of the club.

With Robbi’s departure, the club are now appealing for a volunteer to step forward and become new SLO.

The role requires the candidate to be present at most home and away matches, dealing with any queries that supporters may have at the Rock or on the road. The primary role is for issues that may arise on a match day, however fans should feel comfortable to approach their SLO about any problems throughout the year.

The SLO acts as a key link between the fans and the club, including the board and general manager Antonia Love, by taking any concerns or suggestions forward. The SLO is also a channel for the board to use to send messages to supporters.

The appointee will need to be available for meetings of fellow SLOs from time-to-time (as part of the national network), as well as pre-operations meetings involving stewards and staff ahead of games, if required.

If you think this role might be for you, please contact office@dumbartonfc.co.uk to apply or for more information.
