A DUMBARTON side containing seven trialists were made to work hard, but secured a 3-0 victory over Cumbernauld Colts at a chilly Broadwood Stadium tonight.
The game had been scrappy before Ryan Stevenson converted a 76th minute penalty after Robert Thomson was fouled by the home keeper.
Three minutes later trialist Robert Tatar fired in an excellent 20-yard shot to double the lead.
But he had the title of goal of the night taken from him just four minutes later when Thomson (pictured) turned a defender 25 yards out and blasted home.
