PREMIERSHIP side Dundee visit the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium tonight for Sons’ first pre-season friendly.
The summer schedule, which also includes games against Cumbernauld Colts and Motherwell, will give manager Aitken a chance to run the rule over his new look squad with the 16/17 campaign approaching.
Sons go into the game on the back of a punishing but rewarding training schedue with Aitken chomping at the bit to get a game under their collective belt.
He said: “All players are fit with no injuries to report so that’s a bonus to start with.
“It will be good to get the players out on to the park for some match time and get things started.
“Their attitude and effort has been first class since we all came back from the shorter than usual break, and we now mix up the training with games.”
Kick-off tonight is 7.30pm and entry is by cash payment only. Prices are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
Only the East (home) side of the stadium will be opentonight and bar facilities are available in the community suite from 6.30pm.
