SCOUT Stuart Millar will no longer be part of manager Stevie Aitken’s backroom team going forward as confirmed by the gaffer last Friday evening.
“It’s a blow,” confirmed Stevie. “The work the guy did behind the scenes has been terrific for two years. He travelled literally thousands of miles to watch games for me and a lot of the deals we’ve managed have all been brokered by Stuart.
“He’ll be sorely missed and I thank him for what he’s achieved for the club, but he feels it’s time to move on.”
Echoing the manager’s comments, all at Dumbarton FC wish Stuart all the very best for the future.
