MANAGER Stevie Aitken thanked all Sons fans for their support at Wednesday night’s 2-1 win against Arbroath in the first leg of the Ladbrokes Championship semi-final.
Sons supporters provided an excellent atmosphere for the evening.
“On behalf of the players and the rest of the management team, I must thank everyone for their support,” said Stevie.
“The noise they created certainly lifted the players during the game. Several of them said afterwards that they were spurred on.
“To be so positive was great to see and hear.
“It proves how strong we all are together.
“We still have the return leg to play and nothing is decided yet and it would be great to have a big crowd backing us again at our own place this Saturday.
“As I’ve just said, the players genuinely get a lift from the supporters when they come out in numbers and if we get a good attendance at the weekend, it would be brilliant.”
Saturday’s game kicks-off at 3pm and admission prices are as follows – U-12s £5, Parent £ Child £20, Concessions £8, Adults £16
