MANAGER Stevie Aitken has captured his first Sons signing and we welcome defender Gregor Buchanan who joins from Dunfermline Athletic.
Gregor, who started his career with Airdrie, making a total of 61 appearances, was released by the Pars earlier this month and with a host of clubs chasing his signature, Sons boss Aitken has persuaded him to join up at the Dumbarton Football Stadium.
Stevie said : “Gregor will be a welcome addition to the squad and I’m delighted to have him at Dumbarton.
“A lot of clubs were after him following his departure from Dunfermline so this is a good start.”
Gregor joins on a 1-year deal.
